Overcoming and Conquering while on this Pre-Destined Wisdom Endowed God Led Instructed Journey towards Purpose Discovering and while in and on Our Journey of Purpose Fulfillment

Facing doubt, distrust, unbelief, discourage and fear is a common experience for many people. These feelings can hinder personal growth and prevent you from achieving your goals. Here are some strategies to help you overcome these obstacles and keep moving forward.

Acknowledge Your Feelings

Proverbs 3:5-6  King James Version

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:

12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.

29 Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.

30 Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.

31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

32 For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.

33 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

35 The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

Proverbs 3:5-35    The Message

5-12 Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
    don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
    he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
    Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
    your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own;
    give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst,
    your wine vats will brim over.
But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline;
    don’t sulk under his loving correction.
It’s the child he loves that God corrects;
    a father’s delight is behind all this.

The Very Tree of Life

13-18 You’re blessed when you meet Lady Wisdom,
    when you make friends with Madame Insight.
She’s worth far more than money in the bank;
    her friendship is better than a big salary.
Her value exceeds all the trappings of wealth;
    nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her.
With one hand she gives long life,
    with the other she confers recognition.
Her manner is beautiful,
    her life wonderfully complete.
She’s the very Tree of Life to those who embrace her.
    Hold her tight—and be blessed!

19-20 With Lady Wisdom, God formed Earth;
    with Madame Insight, he raised Heaven.
They knew when to signal rivers and springs to the surface,
    and dew to descend from the night skies.

Never Walk Away

21-26 Dear friend, guard Clear Thinking and Common Sense with your life;
    don’t for a minute lose sight of them.
They’ll keep your soul alive and well,
    they’ll keep you fit and attractive.
You’ll travel safely,
    you’ll neither tire nor trip.
You’ll take afternoon naps without a worry,
    you’ll enjoy a good night’s sleep.
No need to panic over alarms or surprises,
    or predictions that doomsday’s just around the corner,
Because God will be right there with you;
    he’ll keep you safe and sound.

27-29 Never walk away from someone who deserves help;
    your hand is God’s hand for that person.
Don’t tell your neighbor “Maybe some other time”
    or “Try me tomorrow”
    when the money’s right there in your pocket.
Don’t figure ways of taking advantage of your neighbor
    when he’s sitting there trusting and unsuspecting.

30-32 Don’t walk around with a chip on your shoulder,
    always spoiling for a fight.
Don’t try to be like those who shoulder their way through life.
    Why be a bully?
“Why not?” you say. Because God can’t stand twisted souls.
    It’s the straightforward who get his respect.

33-35 God’s curse blights the house of the wicked,
    but he blesses the home of the righteous.
He gives proud skeptics a cold shoulder,
    but if you’re down on your luck, he’s right there to help.
Wise living gets rewarded with honor;
    stupid living gets the booby prize.

Ephesians 6:10-18    The Message
A Fight to the Finish

10-12 And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no weekend war that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.

13-18 Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes spiritually open, alert and aware always at all times.

Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out if we can, not allowing ourselves to fall short and off the Aligned Ordered Pathway that God has Pre-destined and has Well Prepared for us to travel on, to intentionally stay on and to willingly sacrificingly obey, that leads to our God Lead Instructed Ordered Aligned Path, stepping onto into our Life's Purpose Fulfillment.

Intentionally Continuing in The Faith, Committed in Faithfulness, Trust, Belief, Willingness, Sacrifice, Endurance, Humility, Renewed Strength, Prayer, Fasting, Consecration, God Focused, Clarity, Gods Wisdom, Righteousness, Holiness, Integrity, Honor, Forgiveness, Purity, Gods Truths, Unity, Steadfastness, Stability, Assurance and Obedience with and in Gods Perfect Will, Gods Covenant Promises, Gods Pre-Destined Strategic Plans, Gods Wise Righteous Holy Instructed Words of All Truths, Gods Nature, Gods Anointing, Gods Supernatural Power, Gods Excellence, Gods Grace, Gods Wisdom, Gods Righteousness, Gods Holiness, Gods Set Standards, Gods Revelation Knowledge and Understanding, Gods Holy Spirit, Gods Spiritual Fruit Bearings, Gods Favor, True Worship and Praise unto God, Gods Presence, Gods Love, Gods Perfect Peace, Gods Joy and The Glory of The Almighty One Only True Living God Who Reigns as Supreme Ruler High Above ALL in this Universe.  Living our lives daily as true overcomers and conquerors, no matter what may come our way to try to rob, steal, destroy and kill.  When satan trys to tempt, test, rob, steal, destroy and kill, the evil devices that he comes with won't work, they will not prosper against us.  They will have no power against us, while operating in it's daily evil intentional operations.   I am in agreement with God, His Word of All Truths and with God's Heaven.  While on my personal journey navigating through this life spiritually and naturally, I as well will allow myself to receive from this blog talk (these are only a few things discussed in this blog talk, that can and will help us on our way along the way), whatever I may need, knowingly or unknowingly, no matter.  I too have a race to run with patience, with endurance, with assurance, with enough clarity, with honor, with focus, with stability, with steadfastness, with the faith walking by faith,  with fear, with humility, with authority, with dominion, with boldness, with God's wisdom, wisdom revelation knowledge and understanding, with God's uncompromised righteous holy word of instructions with All Truths,  with God's leading and guidance and with trembling.  As Philippians 2:12-13 puts it: “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Success comes through cooperation with God who empowers.  Although no matter what may come or go in our lives throughout our lives, we must always be reminded that Satan has been defeated long ago.  He does not like any of us, especially those who have given their lives over to Christ Jesus, and especially those whom God may have called and chosen in a such unique way for such a time as this, pre-destined for His purpose and for His Glory, who may spiritually know or have become aware of some extremely important things.  While we run our race, it is God who prepares the race course and gives the energy, strength and endurance needed to finish.  Diligently Seek After, Look Up to God, Intentionally Faithfully Depend and Lean on Him and His Instructed Abundant Life-Giving Words of ALL Truths.  While Learning of Him, Obey His Instructed Words of ALL Truths.

Hebrews 12:1 in the Bible, which says: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

This verse uses the metaphor of a running race to encourage Christians in their faith.  What does it mean to “run the race set before us”:

The Christian life is compared to a race multiple times in the New Testament. In 1 Corinthians 9:24, Paul says: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.” Then in 2 Timothy 4:7, at the end of his life, Paul says: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” So Christians are encouraged to live the Christian life with endurance patience and determination like an athlete running a race.

(Here is a bit more wisdom that I had to add and unselfishly share)

It is more like a marathon than a sprint. The Christian life is not a short dash but rather a lifelong journey requiring endurance and perseverance. Just as a runner trains for months or years for a marathon, Christians need to persist in following Christ daily. There are no shortcuts. As Hebrews 12:1 says, we need to “run with perseverance.”

It requires focus and discipline.  In a race, runners strip off any unnecessary weight or distractions in order to run faster. Hebrews 12:1 tells us to “throw off everything that hinders.” This means removing sin, needless possessions, idols, and time-wasters that keep us from wholeheartedly pursuing Christ. Single-minded stability steadfastness in our God led focus and clarity from God's Anointed Holy Ghost Power is needed to win the race.

It involves competing against and challenging ourselves and not others.  While races involve running against other competitors, the emphasis is on beating our own personal records by improving our very own personal relationship with God in God for our spiritual lives. The prize awaiting Christians is hearing “Well done good and faithful servant” from Christ (Matthew 25:23). This race is not won by comparing ourselves to others.

It requires effort but God enables.  While we run, it is God who prepares the race course and gives the energy, strength and endurance needed to finish. As Philippians 2:12-13 puts it: “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Success comes through cooperation with God who empowers.

It leads to a reward. In a race, the prize awaits at the finish line. For Born Again Believers of Jesus Christ, the reward for faithful running is eternal life and hearing “well done” from Christ. This future hope motivates us to persevere.

It involves obstacles. Racing is not easy. Runners must overcome fatigue, aching muscles, and falls. Likewise, Born Again Believers of Jesus Christ face trials, hardships, persecutions, tests, tribulations, temptations and criticisms that threaten to slow or stop our spiritual progress. But Christ gives the endurance needed to press on with patience.

Others are running too. In a race, runners are surrounded by a “cloud of witnesses” – the spectators. Hebrews 12:1 says we are also surrounded by a heavenly cloud of witnesses cheering us on. These likely refer to saints who have already finished the race and now cheer Christians on from heaven’s stands. Their faithful example inspires us.

Jesus blazed the trail. Hebrews 12:2 says Jesus is the “pioneer” of our faith who ran the race before us. He endured the cross and now sits at God’s right hand. Through His life, death and resurrection, Jesus already won the race of salvation. He cleared the path so we could follow Him to glory as we run the race marked out for us.

Our race course is tailored to us. The phrase “the race marked out for us” in Hebrews 12:1 indicates God has designed a unique race and calling for each of His children. The course will look different based on our unique true identity, personality, gifts, life experiences and pre-destined plans, will and covenant promises on purpose for purpose fulfillment. But God prepares the needed path so we can succeed in the race.

The race leads to experiecing God's Glory in our individual lives here in the earth and to the finish line of heaven. The lifelong marathon of following Christ does not end at physical death. There the final victory awaits as we cross heaven’s finish line and receive the imperishable wreath of eternal life from God. Death marks the completion of the race and entrance into God’s presence.

Running this Christian race successfully by God’s grace

1. Train through spiritual disciplines. Just as an athlete trains their body, we need to train our soul through Bible reading, prayer, fasting, fellowship, simplicity, solitude, and other spiritual exercises. These disciplines nourish us spiritually and give endurance.

2. Throw off sin and needless weights. Sin so easily trips us up, so we must slay sinful desires by God’s Spirit. We also must declutter our schedules and possessions, so nothing distracts or slows us. Travel light.

3. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Keeping our eyes fixed on the suffering, death and resurrection of Christ inspires us to persevere. Jesus endured the cross and the crowds’ hostility, keeping his eyes on joyful victory ahead. And So must we.

4. Consider the cloud of witnesses. Remembering faithful saints who finished the race gives endurance and courage. Read Hebrews 11 and see the example of Abraham, Moses, Rahab and others who endured by faith in God’s promises.

5. Meditate on the reward. Frequently consider the eternal life, imperishable wreath and “well done” awaiting at the finish line. This will motivate you to keep running with perseverance when fatigue, tests and trials come.

6. Fill your mind with truth. Immersing your mind in God’s Word builds your beliefs, strengthens your faith and renews your perseverance. Attentively Hear, Receive, Read, Study, Memorize and meditate on key Bible verses from God's Word of Truths. The truth will transform you as you run.

7. Rely on the Spirit. While training yourself through spiritual disciplines, recognize it is ultimately God’s Spirit who transforms you. So continually rely on and obey the Holy Spirit to change your desires, strengthen and guide you.

8. Develop grit and resilience. Persevering through challenges develops tenacious “grit” and resilience. Let hardships make you better, not bitter. Use them to draw closer to God in dependence, not run away.

9. Help others along the way, being led spiritually by God, confidently clearly humbly knowing what we can do, are well equipped to do and to wisely know exactly what when where why who and how to do, discerning studying and hearing wise words of God's truth that may be the ordered aligned life-changing life-steering life-detouring life-adjustments instructions that are tailored and that may be greatly needed, coming from God if and or when He allows us or wants us to get involved doing it in His way. Encourage others still running the race through honorable covenant friendships, honorable covenant small groups and honorable covenant acts of service. Together we encourage each other to throw off sin and keep our eyes fixed on Christ till the end.

10. Keep believing until the end. Crosses, criticisms and crises will come, but continue believing God is sovereign and good. Your persevering faith pleases God and leads to victory. By God’s grace, you can finish the race!

In summary, running the Christian race requires relying on God’s enabling power to persevere through hardship, keep believing, resist sin, discard distractions, focus on Christ, and train spiritually. This lifelong race leads ultimately to hearing “well done” as we cross the finish line into eternal joy in God’s presence. Both individual saints and the church worldwide are running this race until Christ returns. By God’s sufficient grace, all who endure lives of fighting the good fight of faith will finish the race successfully.

There are many more aspects to explore about this race metaphor which is so frequently used in Scripture. But fundamentally it teaches that following Christ requires stamina and discipline by God’s power. Life is a marathon requiring grit and endurance all the way through the finish line. We run together as a vast cloud of witnesses stretching down through history. Preeminently Jesus blazed the trail before us, beckoning us to follow in His footsteps of unwavering faithfulness.

Runners fix their eyes on the goal ahead. So too Christians must continually look to Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith who ran before yet beside us. His sacrificial love compels us to keep running with perseverance no matter the cost or crisis. Along the race marked out for each of us, we discover the utmost meaning of life when our quest to know, love and obey God animates every step. Gradually but steadily we are transformed as we run, increasingly reflecting God’s image, truth and love.

While this lifelong race holds many challenges, the joy set before us pushes us onward, greatly encouraging us to press on and press through it all. Ultimately we will cross the finish line into God’s very presence as He places the eternal reward upon our heads. On that day His affirmation, His Declaration, His Rewarded Words of His Grace and of His Excellence, “Well done good and faithful servant!” will make every ounce of effort in running the race supremely worthwhile. So in confident hope but sober reverance, let us run with perseverance the race set before us, training spiritually and leaning fully on God’s power. Then one day through faithful running we will win the imperishable prize.

Hebrews 12:1-3

Discipline in a Long-Distance Race

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way:  Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That should and will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Galatians 5:7-10

You were running superbly! Who cut in on you, deflecting you from the true course of obedience? This detour doesn’t come from the One who called you into the race in the first place. And please don’t toss this off as insignificant. It only takes a minute amount of yeast, you know, to permeate an entire loaf of bread. Deep down, the Master has given me confidence that you will not defect. But the one who is upsetting you, whoever he is, will bear the divine judgment.

Hosea 4:6  King James Version

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Hosea 4:6-10    The Message

4-10 “But don’t look for someone to blame.

    No finger pointing!
You, priest, are the one in the dock.
    You stumble around in broad daylight,
And then the prophets take over and stumble all night.
    Your mother is as bad as you.
My people are ruined
    because they don’t know what’s right or true.
Because you’ve turned your back on knowledge,
    I’ve turned my back on you priests.
Because you refuse to recognize the revelation of God,
    I’m no longer recognizing your children.
The more priests, the more sin.
    They traded in their glory for shame.
They pig out on my people’s sins.
    They can’t wait for the latest in evil.
The result: You can’t tell the people from the priests,
    the priests from the people.
I’m on my way to make them both pay
    and take the consequences of the bad lives they’ve lived.
They’ll eat and be as hungry as ever,
    have sex and get no satisfaction.
They walked out on me, their God,
    for a life of rutting with whores.
